Raycast Window Management controls geometry: it moves, resizes, centers, tiles, and sends the focused window between displays. Project organization answers a different question: which current windows belong to the work you intend to resume?
Let Raycast own placement
Assign memorable hotkeys only to positions you use. Raycast documents half, third, quarter, maximize, center, next-display, restore, custom commands, and multi-window layouts. It needs Accessibility access to move and resize windows. Test excluded or non-resizable apps and avoid conflicts with macOS or another tiler.
If the only problem is placing the active window, stop there. A second organizational system would add names and maintenance without changing the outcome.
Add project context only for a repeated gap
Project grouping helps when several projects use the same browser, editor, or Finder app and geometry does not reveal ownership. Group the current cross-app windows by outcome and keep names updated when a window is reused.
Raycast layouts may arrange several app windows, but geometry and app matching do not necessarily preserve the task reason, document state, or current project ownership. Wallo can provide goal and task context for existing windows; it does not execute Raycast commands or store window positions.
